Absolut Au Pairs charges a registration fee - this is an upfront non-refundable registration fee of R200.00 incl.

Recommended Au Pair Rates

The Au Pairs rates may vary according to the candidate’s experience, qualifications, duties as well as the hours required by the host family.

We recommend...

An hourly rate of:

• Between R40.00 – R50.00 per hour
• Minimum rate is R40.00 per hour
• Minimum per km: R1.75 (only when travelling for you)
• Full Day minimum rate is R170 per day

OR

A monthly salary if preferred of:

• Between R3000.00 -R3800.00 per month for a half day position for +/- 5 hours of work per day
• Between R5500.00 – R7000.00 per month for a full day position.    

  *These rates are merely a guideline. Alternative offers can be negotiated.

Absolut Au Pairs offers a 50% reduction on your next placement fee should you be required to replace your au pair (permanent contract only) between 3 and 6 months into their employment contract.
